(If you are
unsure, make sure that your guarantee is from Direct Watch Company Ltd
and that your watch is stamped "Cairn" on the back)

If sending us your watch:
Please
be sure to obtain a receipt from your post office,
as we cannot take any responsibility for the goods before we
receive them.
We will need your Order ID number (see below) before any work can be
undertaken.
When you place your order, you will receive
confirmation by return e-mail. This will have an Order
ID number. Please make sure that you quote and enclose this Order ID
number with the item you are sending to us.
If you do not intend to send
us your watch eg you are just ordering a watch strap and will
fit it yourself, please indicate this in the Comments box of the
Secure Order form. If you do not, we will assume that you
are sending us the watch and will wait for its arrival.
Please also ensure that you do not send the presentation box. (just
wrap the item in a little bubble wrap.)___________________________________________________________________________
*** If sending from overseas
(outwith the United Kingdom)
by a carrier eg UPS, FedEx etc, please ensure you tick the box
marked "Sender Pays" as we will not accept any packages
where duty or shipping charges must be paid.
When filling in the Customs form, you *must* add "Watch FOR
REPAIR" or we will be charged duty on the full value of the
watch which we will have to pass on to you before we can return
your watch.

If you are
returning a Cairn brand watch for REPAIR UNDER
GUARANTEE,
please return it securely wrapped in some bubble wrap (not
in the presentation box) with a note indicating the problem
you are experiencing.
A note of your
telephone number and e-mail address will also be useful in
case of queries.
Please
note: Any watch being returned for a repair under
our 12 month guarantee must be accompanied by a properly
stamped and dated guarantee card.
Any repair
sent to us without this will will be charged at the
prevailing rate. |
